About Drea

Drea Mulligan is a multi-business entrepreneur, educator, and community-builder who has generated over $39 million in revenue across 3 very different businesses — a brewery, a childcare company, and a social-impact coffee brand.

Married for more than 25 years and mom to 2 incredible adult children, Drea knows firsthand what it takes to build both a business and a life worth sustaining.

Her story isn’t polished — and that’s exactly why people connect with it.

She speaks openly about the reality of entrepreneurship: the wins, the failures, the pivots, and the pressure of carrying it all.

Today, Drea is on a mission to empower women in business in a more meaningful way — through honesty, connection, and real conversations about what success actually looks like behind the scenes.

Her message is simple but powerful:

You can thrive, not just survive, even when the road gets hard.

Why Now

"For more than a decade, every piece of visibility I had belonged to the businesses I was running.
The breweries. The daycares. The cafés. The teams. The crises. The wins.
All of my energy went into building brands that were never about me — they were about keeping the lights on,
serving communities, creating jobs, and surviving whatever came next.

So if you’re wondering why my personal social media sits at zero followers, here’s the truth:

I never built an audience for myself.
I was focused on building everything else.

I was in the trenches — leading, rebuilding, fighting fires, navigating burnout, and holding together companies
that were always bigger than my own name.
And for a long time, stepping into the spotlight felt wrong.
I wasn’t interested in being the face of anything.
I was interested in doing the work.

But this season is different.

I’m finally ready to talk. Ready to share the parts of entrepreneurship people don’t see.
Ready to say the things I wish someone had said to me — about leadership,
motherhood, marriage, money, mistakes, resilience, and the moments that bring you to your knees.

Why now?

Because the truth deserves daylight.
Because real stories matter more than polish.
Because women entrepreneurs deserve conversations
that go deeper than strategy and success metrics.
Because someone somewhere is holding everything together
in silence, and I want her to feel less alone.

Audience or no audience, I’m here.

And I’m finally ready to share what I’ve learned — the hard way, the honest way, the human way."
